About the Role
Our ambition is to build a robust Supplier Ecosystem and aharmonisedOne Procurement Community (OPC) Process Framework that supports Diageo’s continued growth. Sitting within the Process & Supplier Excellence team under the Global Supply, Sustainability & Procurement Transformation (GSSP) pillar, this role has a truly global remit across all of Diageo Procurement.
As a Supplier Excellence Specialist, you will play a key role in unlocking value across the 4Cs (Cost, Cash,Carbonand Consumer) by improving processes, strengthening supplier partnerships, and enhancing supply chain resilience and compliance.
You will act as a process improvement specialist, drivingstandardisation,innovationand continuous improvement across procurement, ensuring our ways of working are efficient,scalableand future-ready.
WhatYou’llBe Doing:
Drive process excellence
1. Design,standardiseandoptimiseend-to-end procurement processes across the OPC framework
2. Develop and evolve tools,playbooksand frameworks to embed best practice globally
3. Ensure processes are user-friendly, fit for purpose and continuously improved through feedback
Lead continuous improvement initiatives
4. Identifyand deliver high-priority process improvementprogrammesacross key markets
5. Analyseprocess performance, KPIs and audit findings to recommend and implement improvements
6. Act as a trusted advisor to procurement teams on processoptimisation
Enhance supplier performance and partnerships
7. Support Supplier Performance Management (SPM) and Joint Business Planning (JBP) governance
8. Collaborate with suppliers and category teams to drive value and performance improvements
9. Contribute to supplier engagement initiatives, including surveys and supplier recognitionprogrammes
Strengthen risk,complianceand resilience
10. Support initiatives to de-risk the supply chain, including data privacy,cybersecurityand AI governance
11. Partner with Legal, Risk and GBO teams to ensure compliance with policies and standards
12. Contribute to building a resilient and future-proof supplier ecosystem
Enable digital and data-driven procurement
13. Collaborate with Digital and Technology teams to implement tools,automationand reporting dashboards
14. Use data and insights to track process health,complianceand performance
15. Explore opportunities toleverageAI and digital solutions to improve efficiency
Collaborate and influence across the business
16. Work closely with global and market procurement teams,stakeholdersand shared services (GBO)
17. Support capability building, training and adoption of new processes and tools
18. Foster a culture of continuous improvement,innovationand collaboration

29. An understanding of procurement and/or supply chain processes (or the ability to quickly build knowledge in this space)

31. Awareness of risk and governance, with the ability to embed compliant and sustainable ways of working
32. Experience supporting or navigating change management, helping teams adopt new processes,toolsor ways of working
