If so, Torque has an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our growing HR team.
As a HR Advisor at Torque, you’ll be a trusted partner to managers and employees across the business. You’ll provide expert advice on employee relations, compliance, and HR best practice, while supporting a positive workplace culture.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll balance day-to-day HR support with driving initiatives that make Torque an even better place to work.
Advise managers on HR matters, including absence, grievances, disciplinaries, performance, and capability.
Ensure compliance with employment law and fair application of HR policies.
Support and communicate family-friendly policies (maternity, paternity, flexible working, etc.).
Partner with managers to deliver recruitment end-to-end: advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
Deliver engaging HR inductions and ensure new hires are set up for success.
Assist with workplace adjustments, risk assessments, and employee well-being support.
Provide HR administration support, including ER casework documentation and note-taking.
Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that improve culture, engagement, and succession planning.
1+ years’ experience in an HR Advisor role.
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Flexible with the ability to work across multiple sites (driving licence required).
