Consumer Litigation Lawyer. Business Service Provider. 6 month FTC. Yorkshire. NQ+ PQE
Our client is a technology led business service provider that is looking to engage a consumer litigation lawyer on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract, to start ASAP. The team operates a hybrid working policy, with two days a week required in their Yorkshire based office.
The role will primarily focus on handling claims made on behalf of the business’s various consumer brands as well as defending claims made against them. Claims could relate to consumer breach of contract, discrimination, data protection, property damage and/or credit file issues. A defence background is highly desirable.
Successful candidates are likely to be qualified solicitors with a strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules, relevant case law and litigation processes. Due to the nature of the role, it is believed that lawyers between the NQ to 4PQE level will be well suited to the position, although those outside of this bracket will also be considered. Ideally, candidates will be available to start a new role immediately or at short notice and spend two days a week in their Yorkshire based office.
