Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation by assisting with various accounting and administrative tasks. Responsibilities
1. Daily posting of cash receipts to accounting software - Merlin
2. Customer accounts administration - opening new delivery addresses and other ad hoc admin tasks
3. Uploading sales invoices to customers' procurement portals
4. Assisting with Credit Control across the whole sales ledger. This includes contacting customers by telephone, email, procurement portals and statements to obtain payment.
5. Taking card payments over the telephone.
6. Reconciling customer accounts, obtaining remittance advices and allocating unallocated receipts.
7. Production of customer statements inlcuding bespoke statements in the format required by certain customers.
8. Obtaining proof of delivery from FEDEX.
9. Providing copy invoices.
10. Assistance with the purchase ledger including posting purchase invoices and reconciling statements.
