Home working with occasional requirement for office-based work and travel.

The main purpose of the job is to provide administration support to the office.
Job Description:
The post holder must have excellent written and interpersonal skills and be able to effectively liaise with senior colleagues. The post holder must be able to plan, prioritise and work efficiently on a varied workload, be able to demonstrate initiative and flexibility and work independently when required.
Main duties and accountabilities
To provide maternity cover in the first instance for the Membership & Events Coordinator, with a view to the position developing within the business:
Membership Administration
· Update and maintain accurate records of online membership database
· Provide membership support and advice
· Maintain membership subscriptions
· Undertake desktop research to identify prospects and lost members, potential new members from new and existing sectors.
Events
· Coordinate in-person regional events
· Book venues and catering arrangements where necessary
· Update and maintain website bookings
· Attend national and regional events where support is required
· Administer webinars
· Evaluate delegate feedback

· Update and maintain website
· Create new content where required
General
All staff are expected to support and develop the business objectives by providing high quality professional services as effectively and efficiently as possible within the available resources.

Person Specification
Essential
· Experienced home worker
· Highly organized, with ability to adapt as necessary
· Excellent administration skills
· Excellent IT/Web/Digital comms skills
· Proficient use of Office packages including Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work to deadlines
· Tenacious eye for detail
· Team player
GCSE English or equivalent
· Willingness to travel within the UK
· Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative
Desirable
· Knowledge of the public sector and/or risk management
· Marketing and communications
· Event management experience
· Proof-reading/written content/editorial experience

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
