Programme Support Officer
Salary: Between £24,520-£26,021 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time (see 'Flexible working)
Location: Home-based in West Yorkshire

This Programme Support Officer role has been created to provide programme and administrative support in the delivery of an exciting new regional programme in West Yorkshire to support householders to progress with domestic energy.

The team
The energy teams’ purpose is to enable households, small businesses, and communities to have affordable energy costs and reduce carbon emissions that contribute to climate change. We provide energy advice services, renewable energy expertise and manage and administer loans and grants for energy saving and low or zero-carbon improvements to homes and businesses on behalf of governments, local authorities, and businesses.
We manage programmes across the UK with more being added as we grow in response to demand. We collaborate and support each other, sharing expertise and best practice and innovate to deliver world-class customer experience. The role
The programme includes a one stop shop (providing digital and telephone based advice) which will form the central point for domestic retrofit enquiries across the West Yorkshire Combined Authority area.
What you’ll do
Provide efficient administration across all elements of the programme lifecycle, including but not limited to:
* Finances: setting up new suppliers on finance systems, raising and tracking purchase orders, processing and raising invoices.
* Assisting with programme delivery where required, such as organising meetings, taking minutes and dealing with local stakeholder enquiries.
* Updating and maintaining documentation, spreadsheets and databases.
* Collating management information for reporting purposes.
What you’ll bring
* Well-developed administration skills, including IT skills and experience of MS Office, including Excel.
* Local area knowledge by being based in the Leeds, Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees or Wakefield area.
* Good numeracy skills and strong attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational and coordination skills.
* Experience of or ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to prioritise activity.
