Job Title: Postal/Parcel Delivery Driver
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Temporary
37 per hour
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1600
Overtime: Available during weekends
Pertemps is delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting multi-drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers in the NEWCASTLE WEST area.
If you have excellent customer service skills and want to be part of a dynamic and growing industry, this position is perfect for you.
Start your day at the local delivery office, sorting and collecting post/parcels for delivery.
Deliver letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle, walking up to 8 miles per day.
Carry a delivery bag (up to 16kg) and transport parcels (up to 20kg).
Valid UK driving license (max 6 points, clean license preferred).
Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
