The Role – Veterinary Surgeon (Minimum 1 Year Experience) We are seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon comfortable with routine procedures and consultations, ready to take the next step in their career. You will: Work up cases thoroughly in-house Participate in daily case discussions Receive hands-on guidance and mentorship Have the opportunity to mentor newer graduates Develop leadership and coaching skills An ambition to pursue a certificate is fully supported with funding available An interest in ophthalmology is advantageous but not essential Work-Life Balance That Actually Delivers This role is structured to support long-term career sustainability: 4-day working week Early finish once a week For 7 weeks out of 9: 1pm finish (effectively a 3.5 day week) For the remaining 2 weeks: 5pm finish 1:9 on-call weekends with an RVN always on-site (rota structured so you'll never work the full weekend!)
