We are working exclusively with the charity during this exciting time as they embark on a new national expansion and redefine their identity. They are seeking a visionary Communications and Marketing Director to lead the charge in shaping their brand and elevating their profile.
The successful candidate will lead and oversee in four core ways –
* They will oversee positioning, core messaging and brand development work.
* They will oversee the development and delivery of an approach to integrated marketing that recognises the importance of the donor or stakeholder journey.
* They will lead the internal communications strategy, working in close consultation with the People and Culture team.
* They will lead the external communications strategies that expand brand awareness, elevate their leaders and raise national profile.
About you:
* Experience of promoting and developing a vibrant brand in a complex organisation.
* Experience of designing and successfully executing marketing strategies through own work and through others.
* Experience of client marketing – specifically, ensuring that materials, content and events give a high quality customer experience – ideally involving donors and working with fundraising teams.
* Experience of running communications and PR team in an organisation using multiple channels and digital media.
* Experience of leading, motivating and developing people at all levels with an ability to create a working environment in which people can thrive and develop.
* Eye for detail and quality.
* Problem solving and resourcefulness.
* Prepared to work in line with our values and to demonstrate behaviours consistent with these.
