The Digital Analytics Implementation Consultant will be a hands‑on expert responsible for end‑to‑end technical implementation and optimisation of web and marketing tracking technologies for our clients. This is a highly technical, client‑facing role that requires advanced configuration and troubleshooting of JavaScript‑based tracking tags, ensuring pixel‑perfect data layer integrity and maximum data fidelity to inform marketing strategies.
Non‑Negotiable Criteria
 * 2+ years of hands‑on experience leading the technical implementation and configuration of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) for enterprise‑level websites.
 * Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to read, debug, and write custom code within GTM for advanced tracking and data layer manipulation.
 * Proven ability to implement, troubleshoot, and validate various marketing pixels (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) directly through a Tag Management System.
Responsibilities
 * Lead the implementation and configuration of GA4, GTM, and marketing pixels.
 * Ensure data accuracy through testing, validation, and QA processes.
 * Design measurement plans to track KPIs across digital channels.
 * Identify and resolve complex tracking issues timely.
 * Extract and analyze data from GA4 and other sources to provide insights.
 * Develop and automate reports and dashboards using Looker Studio.
 * Act as primary client contact for tracking needs, building long‑term relationships.
 * Translate business objectives into actionable tracking plans.
 * Present findings and recommendations clearly to clients.
 * Manage expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
 * Contribute to innovative tracking methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications
 * 2+ years in a digital analytics role, ideally within a marketing agency.
 * Expert mastery of GA4 and GTM, with advanced configuration and troubleshooting.
 * Experience with other Tag Management Systems (Tealium, Adobe Launch) is an advantage.
 * Proven implementation of marketing pixels.
 * Deep expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and DOM manipulation.
 * SQL skills for debugging and data validation.
 * Understanding of GDPR and data privacy best practices.
