Overview
Morson Are recruiting for a Warehouse Coordinator to work with our prestigious client based at RAF Shawbury. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a military environment.
Pay: £12.72 per hour PAYE / £17.01 per hour Umbrella. Contract: 6 months initial contract.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the operation of a work area within the Material Management Warehouse as specified by the Segment Manager.
* Support the Team Leaders and Senior Management in the implementation of Company Policy and Procedure.
* Achieve optimum stock turn and handling.
* Provide necessary support to Management in pursuance of overall Divisional and Company targets.
* Adhere to all documented Company Quality System procedures when carrying out operational duties.
* Conduct material orders / movements in the correct priority sequence.
* Ensure all items are unloaded / handled according to company / airworthiness directives.
* Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external contacts.
* Develop and maintain a teamwork approach with colleagues.
* Identify and resolve issues of a problematic nature at onset.
* Ensure the application of SAP and any other business tools consistent with training and work instructions.
* Maintain departmental administrative systems and provide accurate documentation to support efficient operations.
* Achieve set targets and objectives.
* Operate cross-functionally across Warehouse functions (inbound / outbound / repairs / tool control).
* Provide regular reports on work in progress to the Team Leaders.
Knowledge and Skills
* Experience with the aviation supply chain is preferred.
* Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate with customers and colleagues at all levels; liaise effectively with other internal departments.
* Good security awareness and understanding of stock vulnerability within a warehouse environment.
* Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise and work effectively while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Proven experience of working in a target-driven environment and delivering to KPI targets.
* Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
Education, Qualifications or Training
* Experience of driving forklift truck equipment and certificate of attendance of relevant training preferred.
* Full UK Driving License.
