Job Purpose
To supervise students during the lunch period, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and good behaviour in the dining hall, playground and other designated areas. The Midday Supervisor helps create a calm, friendly and positive environment at lunchtime.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground, corridors and other areas as directed.
*
Encourage good table manners, orderly queues, and positive social interactions.
*
Manage and support pupils’ behaviour according to school policies, including low-level incidents.
*
Support students with special or additional needs during lunchtime.
*
Respond promptly to accidents or incidents; provide basic first aid if trained.
*
Report any concerns about pupil welfare, safeguarding or behaviour to the appropriate member of staff.
*
Assist with clearing tables, tidying the dining area and ensuring a safe, clean environment.
*
Promote inclusion and ensure all pupils feel safe and supported during lunch breaks.
