Land / Topographical Surveyor
This challenging and exciting opportunity requires a qualified Land Surveyor or Topographical Surveyor with at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. The position offers an attractive basic salary (permanent), bonus, fully expensed commercial vehicle, and a comprehensive benefits package. Work is local with no overnight stays required.
Due to the company's continued growth and a significant workload of contracts, our client seeks an experienced Land Surveyor / Topographical Surveyor to lead and manage all surveying aspects of complex projects. The role involves supporting engineering, project, and site management teams.
The Role
1. Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted on site.
2. Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, lines, and other terrain characteristics to produce accurate volumetric information.
3. Prepare or supervise the preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys.
4. Take measurements and survey data to determine positions and elevations.
5. Process surveys and earthworks for ground modelling.
6. Carry out surveys and as-builts using Total Station equipment.
7. Support various sites, teams, and managers in the successful delivery of projects.
8. Proficiency with industry-related software (e.g., AutoCAD 3D, BIM, or N4CE).
