Advanced Manufacturing (Sheffield) Limited (AML) is an advanced machining supplier focused on aerofoil and rotative components. We are at the leading edge of machining technologies and are dedicated to delivering efficiency and reduced cycle times for our clients in the aerospace sector. Our advanced milling, turning and 5-axis capacity enables us to machine a wide range of products including bespoke ring, casing, gearbox, aerofoil and aerostructure components. To date, we have manufactured components for Rolls-Royce, Boeing, Siemens, Bombardier and are looking to expand our machining capabilities over the coming year.
The Position
* 2 to 3 days per week delivering or collecting goods on a pre-agreed delivery route.
* Driving of FLT to support business operations.
* Supporting stores team with packing operations, moving goods around site, and any ad hoc tasks.
* Loading and unloading of goods.
* Complete weekly building checks.
* Assist in general maintenance activities.
* Ensure swarf bins are emptied regularly.
* Support with any ad hoc tasks as required.
* Ensure a clean and tidy working environment.
* Comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and legal obligations, including those relevant to CNC machining and high-reliability manufacturing.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment, reporting any hazards, incidents, near-misses, or unsafe behaviors promptly and accurately.
* Use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriately, ensuring correct use in line with task and risk requirements.
* Participate in mandatory EHS training, emergency response drills, and company health and wellbeing initiatives. Support a culture of continuous improvement in safety and sustainability, including contributing ideas for reducing risk, waste, and environmental impact. Demonstrate environmental awareness by following procedures for responsible use of materials, recycling, and energy conservation.

The Person
* Highly motivated individual.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Apprenticed trained or time-served experience. (If applicable)
* Educated to a Grade C or above in English and Mathematics at GCSE Level or equivalent.
* Ability to manage own time and workload effectively.
* Full clean UK Driving License.
