Overview
As a Receptionist, your role is to provide a high quality frontline response to customer enquiries and act as the efficient interface with other departments throughout the company. Ad-hoc general administration and secretarial duties to support the wider business support team.
What You'll Be Doing
* Reception area – man the front desk, ensure the reception area and the display of current Future Publishing magazines is tidy and up-to-date, including seating areas, the main reception desk and other magazine display stands.
* Maintain stationery and refreshment supply for the building.
* Client liaison/Welcome – provide an efficient, knowledgeable and professional first point of contact for all enquiries from visitors, customers, contractors, suppliers. Queries may relate to subscriptions, back issues orders, general product information, complaints and compliments.
* Switchboard – handle 350+ calls daily: answer the main telephone promptly, politely and professionally and direct callers to the correct person/department.
* Manage complex travel bookings, hire cars and train tickets, prioritising and handling high volume on short notice.

* Be proactive and reactive; identify issues and resolve problems with own initiative and autonomy, or seek support when needed.
* Proven success at supporting busy and challenging teams, adhering to deadlines.
* Strong G Suite skills.
* Professional, courteous and positive manner, but equally assertive under pressure and when managing several tasks.
* Confident communication skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Flexible, highly adaptable attitude.

The expected salary for this role is £15,000. This is a hybrid role from our Bath office, working three days in the office and two from home.
