Equans is looking for a Regional Manager to cover the Northwest of England on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

The Regional Manager will have responsibility for TFS provision across one of the seven regions in the HMCTS portfolio. They will have three direct Reports in the form of three Area Facilities Managers (delivering both Hard & Soft Services) with a wider team of almost people delivering the services to the local client.

The post holder will work closely with a variety of Support Services such as Helpdesk, Finance, SHEQ and HR.

They will be responsible for operational delivery of 26 contract KPIs meeting SLA and with a P&L responsibility between £3m-£10m.

The post holder will be required to travel across multiple sites across the Northwest of England.

This role plays a critical part in directing the regional operational and technical teams ensuring a smooth and contractually compliant delivery to the HMCTS client and their end users, they will lead the management interface with the Client and be responsible for ensuring the region meets the KPI expectations.

We are looking for a self-motivated driven individual able to add expertise and leadership to the team. With demonstratable experience of managing complex and high-volume operational contract deliverables and ability to respond flexibly and efficiently to changing business needs. Will establish good working relationships with both client and team members.

What will you deliver?

1. Develop and maintain a healthy business relationship with the Client which includes promoting EQUANS Business capabilities, building trust and maximising growth opportunities
2. Develop and maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships which will enable them to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
3. Build and direct operational team to ensure services are delivered and adequately supported in the most efficient and effective manner, ensuring all contractual KPIs, SLAs & deliverables are achieved, taking positive steps to address challenges as appropriate
4. Ownership, preparation and timely submission of all MI, Reports and Risk Registers into the Customer and Business as required
5. Ensure all operational, safety, people and financial targets and forecasts are achieved across the contract and where necessary develop detailed recovery plans to address underperformance
6. Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and policies to economise service delivery across the Contract while increasing productivity
7. Promote a Safety-First culture always ensuring statutory compliance of the contract and the safe working of all EQUANS employees and contractors on the contract
8. Ensure all elements of employment procedures and processes, including disciplinary & grievance, attendance management and performance management are adhered to in accordance with Company policies
9. Responsible for employee development, succession planning, employee empowerment and talent management across teams including support for talent pipelines ie. Apprenticeships and leadership development
10. Management of all non-conformances (NCRs) across the Contract
11. Supporting the development and implementation of the Responsible Business plan for the Contract
12. Identification and implementation of Continuous Improvement opportunities to enhance the performance of the team and contract

Who are you?

24. A strong leader who is able to demonstrate operational experience in managing contracts with critical services in a high-volume environment
25. Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills
26. Process orientated individual with experience in continuous improvement and adding value to contracts under their direct management
27. Strong financial and commercial awareness and skills to deliver contract compliance alongside contract and EBIT growth
28. A strategic individual who has strong customer relationship skills and can position themselves as their trusted advisor for the Client
29. An inspiring leader & influencer with imagination and a track record of innovation
30. Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and Quality systems
31. Ability to write reports, business cases, case studies and have excellent presentation skills
