Blue Legal are partnering with a leading law firm who are recruiting for a Senior Business Development Executive to join their Manchester office. The role calls for a strategic thinker with a strong track record in identifying and securing new business opportunities. The Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the firm’s 5-year growth plan by supporting the BD Manager in driving revenue-generating initiatives across the region.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities and cross-selling potential with both new and existing clients.
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform lead generation and strategic planning.
* Represent the firm at events, build strong relationships with intermediaries, and leverage external networks to generate leads.
* Work closely with Partners and Directors to develop tailored solutions that address client needs and open up new opportunities.
* Support BD campaigns and events, manage pipelines via CRM, and align efforts with PR, digital, and marketing teams for maximum impact.
The Candidate:
* Proven experience in BD within professional or commercial sectors, with a solid understanding of the UK corporate, mid-market, and SME landscape.
* Entrepreneurial and strategic thinker with strong stakeholder engagement skills, comfortable working with senior leaders and contributing to cross-functional initiatives.
* Skilled in project management, CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), and digital tools, with strong written communication and the ability to brief marketing and PR teams effectively.
