Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Wolverhampton that is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Qualified English Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
The Role at a Glance
As an English Teacher, you will:
* Deliver dynamic English Language & Literature lessons across KS3 & KS4
* Inspire students to develop confidence in reading, writing and analysis
* Bring texts to life through creative and engaging teaching strategies
* Use assessment for learning to track progress and raise attainment
* Create a positive, inclusive and high-expectation classroom environment
* Collaborate with a supportive and forward-thinking English department
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in English Language & Literature
* Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome to apply)
* A passion for inspiring young people and raising achievement
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
