​ Who we are: ​ Ascot Racecourse is home to Royal Ascot, one of the world’s most prestigious racing festivals. For over 300 years, it has been at the heart of the British sporting and social calendar. Royal Ascot welcomes more than 300,000 guests over five days, with up to 75,000 attendees per day. The event is broadcast to over 150 territories and reaches more than half a billion people worldwide. Ascot aims to offer its racegoers something for everyone who wishes to be involved, and Royal Ascot’s offerings reflect this through the entry level Windsor picnic enclosure, the mid-tier Village enclosure, the central Queen Anne Enclosure and ultimately the Royal Enclosure. And incorporating up to 7000 racegoers in a wide range of private box and restaurant fine dining facilities. In everything they do and how they do it Ascot and its people represent the Monarch. ​ What we are looking for - Roles available: ​ We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our Guest Services Team for Royal Ascot 2026. If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and being part of an iconic event, we would love to hear from you! ​ ​ Available Roles: ​ 1. Information Guide As an Information Guide, you will be one of the primary points of contact for guests, stationed throughout the racecourse and at key entrance points. Key Responsibilities: Answering general enquiries and questions and assisting with any customer feedback and concerns Being a guest service representative - talking, listening and helping to resolve any customer concerns Greet and welcome guests upon arrival to the racecourse Promote the venues products and facilities to help guests get the most out of their day Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM ​ ​ 2. Check-In Assistant As a Check-In Assistant, you will be one of the first team members to welcome race and event day staff as they arrive. You will ensure they are checked in efficiently and directed to their designated areas. Key Responsibilities: Register event staff upon arrival Direct staff to the correct check-in areas based on their role Ensure a smooth and efficient check-in process Hours: Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM Full-Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 9:30 PM (10:30 PM finish on Saturday only) ​ 3. Cloakroom Assistant ​ As a Cloakroom Assistant, you will be one of the first team members to welcome our guests as they arrive to the racecourse. You will ensure their belongings are received, tagged, and stored safely, with accurate systems in place so items can be returned efficiently to the correct guest. Key Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival at the cloakroom Receive, tag, and securely store coats, bags, and other permitted items Ensure accurate ticketing or tagging procedures so belongings are returned to the correct guest Handle guest enquiries politely and efficiently Maintain an organised, tidy, and secure cloakroom area at all times Hours: 8:00 AM -21:30 PM ​ ​ 4. Racecard Distributor ​ The Racecard Distribution Team plays a key role in ensuring guests have easy access to racecards and event magazines throughout the racecourse and enclosures. You would be supporting the timely distribution and re-stocking of materials across kiosks and hospitality areas. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with your team members to ensure efficient racecard distribution and re-stocking across the venue Distribute racecards and magazines to kiosks, hospitality areas, and other designated locations in a timely manne Monitor stock levels across all outlets and proactively replenish supplies to meet guest demand Hours: 6:30 AM -18:30 PM ​ ​ What we are looking for: ​ We are seeking individuals who: ✔ Have a passion for customer service ✔ Are friendly, approachable, and confident communicators ✔ Can work well in a team and adapt to changing situations ✔ Are reliable, responsible, and proactive ✔ Can remain calm under pressure ✔ Are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions ​ ​ What we offer: ​ The opportunity to be a part of 'a place like nowhere else' and be part of our guest service team. Uniform and a daily lunch will be provided. Ascot offers complimentary parking to all staff and the racecourse is just a ten-minute walk from Ascot train station. We will be paying £15.08 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay). ​ ​ Availability requirements: ​ We will be inviting successful shortlisted candidates to attend a Recruitment Session on Thursday 9th April. You must be available for all five days of Royal Ascot (16 – 20 June 2026). Successful candidates will then be required to attend a training session on Saturday 6th June. ​ ​ ​Closing date: ​ The closing date is Friday 3rd April.
