The Role What Youll Be Doing A senior position offering a strong blend of audit, accounts and client-facing responsibility:
Audit Lead statutory audits from planning to completion
Prepare and review audit planning documents and risk assessments
Conduct on-site and remote fieldwork
Draft audit reports and ensure full compliance with auditing standards
Present audit findings, highlight issues, and recommend improvements
Accounts & Tax Prepare statutory accounts under UK GAAP
Prepare management accounts
Complete bookkeeping and VAT returns
Prepare and review corporation tax computations
Team Leadership Supervise and review the work of trainees and junior staff
Provide coaching, feedback and on-the-job development
Contribute positively to a strong, collaborative team culture
Client Interaction Act as a key contact for clients throughout assignments
Build strong, trusted relationships
Identify additional service needs and communicate opportunities
About You To succeed and thrive, you will be:
ACA or ACCA qualified, or a finalist with strong experience
Experienced (minimum 3 years) in a UK accountancy practice
Confident leading audits and managing multiple assignments
Organised, proactive and comfortable managing client relationships
Someone who enjoys mentoring junior staff and being part of a team
Driven, ambitious and seeking a long-term home to grow your career
Experience with CCH, Sage, ProAudit or Xero is helpful but not essential.
