Account Executives, Channel Account Managers, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, and Sales Operations work together to help our customers adopt Cloudflare and create great Internet-enabled experiences. The sales team helps customers solve real, technical problems while creating the revenue streams that allow the company to provide free service to millions.
About this Role
The Senior Commercial Account Executive position delivers the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiating and closing sales with new and existing customers in line with business plans. Identify and progress cross‑sell opportunities to maximize revenue goals and generate additional sales revenue through effective sales outreach.
Candidates should combine a sales background with technical insight to engage from administrative to executive levels within network operations, development and technical infrastructure teams. The position will focus on the Israel market.

Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan to achieve quarterly sales and annual revenue targets.
- Drive new business acquisition, customer expansion (upsell and cross‑sell), and renewal within the territory.
- Build a robust sales pipeline through continual engagement and nurturing of key prospect accounts.
- Understand customer use‑cases and pair them with Cloudflare’s portfolio solutions to identify new sales opportunities.
- Craft and communicate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services and drive awareness through outbound campaigns.
- Scale the territory with partners and forecast outcomes by running a consistent sales process.
- Act as a trusted advisor, building long‑term strategic relationships with key accounts to ensure adoption, retention and expansion and provide strategic recommendations during reviews.
- Network across business units, multi‑thread to identify and engage new divisional buyers.
- Position Cloudflare's platform, including Cloudflare One and the Connectivity Cloud, in target customers.
- Operate internally as a liaison to share key customer feedback and insights to improve experience and investments.
- Manage B2B sales, new business acquisition, and account management with a technical, cloud‑based product or service.
- Leverage working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and security, and solid understanding of computer networking and Internet functioning.
- Demonstrate keenness for learning technical concepts, with a background in engineering, computer science or MIS advantageous.
- Show strong interpersonal communication (verbal & written), organizational skills and self‑motivation.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced dynamic environment and willing to travel frequently to meet customers and prospects.
Knowledge/Experience
- Fluency in Hebrew.
- 6+ years of B2B selling experience in enterprise software or SaaS, preferably network security or hardware solutions to mid‑enterprise/enterprise customers.
- Relevant direct experience, track record and relationships within enterprise and mid‑market accounts.
- Strong experience managing long, complex sales cycles in a fast‑paced environment.
- Background in enterprise IT/Cyber Security and aptitude for learning technical concepts.
Compensation
Germany based hires: Estimated annual salary is between €152,000 – €209,000.
Netherlands based hires: Estimated annual salary is between €144,000 – €198,000.
This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation under Cloudflare’s Sales Compensation Plan. The estimated annual salary range includes the on‑target incentive compensation that may be attained.
