About the Role
Are you an experienced engineer with a background of working on heavy plant, and looking for a new challenge? We are seeking talented and experienced Field Service Engineers to join our client's dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
* Routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
* Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
* Thorough examinations of components, to identify potential defects or deficiencies.
* Alongside internal teams and external stakeholders, working to schedule and execute service activities, minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
* Provide technical guidance and support to customers and onsite personnel, ensuring proper operation and maintenance practices.
* Keep accurate records of service activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering discipline.
* Experience working with heavy equipment in a field service capacity.
* Knowledge of heavy equipment/mining systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
* Diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
* Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and team members effectively.
Required Skills:
* Experience with heavy equipment servicing.
* Strong troubleshooting abilities.
* Effective communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in a similar engineering role.
* Familiarity with hydraulic systems.
Pay range and compensation package:
* Salary package commensurate with experience.
