About the Role
We are currently working with several leading Lloyds and London Market insurers embarking on major Guidewire transformation programmes across Underwriting, Policy Administration, and Claims.
These large-scale initiatives are driving end-to-end modernisation of core platforms and processes, delivering greater agility, operational efficiency, and digital capability across the insurance lifecycle.
As a Guidewire Project / Programme Manager (Contract), you will lead complex transformation workstreams, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring the successful delivery of business-critical Guidewire solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning and delivery of Guidewire transformation programmes (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
Define programme scope, strategy, timelines, budgets, and governance frameworks.
Manage cross-functional delivery teams and ensure alignment between business, technology, and vendor partners.
Oversee RAID management, resource planning, and progress reporting to senior stakeholders.
Drive stakeholder engagement at all levels, including C-suite and programme sponsors.
Ensure alignment between Guidewire configuration, business requirements, and operating model design.
Promote best practices in Agile / hybrid delivery, change management, and risk mitigation.
Support post-implementation activities, embedding new processes and ensuring business adoption.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience managing end-to-end Guidewire delivery programmes (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
Strong understanding of Lloyds / London Market insurance processes and regulatory landscape.
Demonstrable experience leading multi-stream, multi-vendor transformation initiatives.
Proficiency in programme governance, stakeholder management, and financial oversight.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and technical teams alike.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, SAFe ) are advantageous.
