In this exciting position, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering successful wastewater and sludge treatment projects. Collaborating closely with the Commissioning Manager, you’ll be part of a supportive, multi-discipline team dedicated to achieving timely project handovers. Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Inspecting and testing electrical power and control systems, including motors, inverter drives, flow meters, and instrumentation.
* Conducting functional testing of systems and wet commissioning of pumps, blowers, and compressors.
* Identifying and resolving electrical issues through effective troubleshooting and fault finding.
* Completing detailed commissioning reports and marked-up as-built drawings to support project handover.
* Ensuring all commissioning activities comply with Electrical Site Safety Rules and Health and Safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold a minimum City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 qualification and ECS (JIB) Gold Card.
* Have experience commissioning water MEICA projects and knowledge of wastewater treatment processes.
* Are qualified to carry out Authorised Person (LV) duties.
* Possess strong technical skills in electrical engineering with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach.
* Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team and building positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
