What the nursery practitioner will do:
Be punctual and professional
Communicate effectively with other support staff, the children and occasionally parents.
Support children with their 'learn through play' education.
Create a safe learning environment for children to develop socially, emotionally and academically.
Assist in monitoring pupil progress.
An eagerness to learn and develop good behaviour strategies, when assisting staff members.
What the nursery practitioner will have:
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare is preferable but not essential for the right candidate.
Previous experience in nurseries or childcare is also preferable but not essential for the right candidate.
A friendly, approachable character, which will help build strong relationships with children and staff.
A proactive and can do attitude.
Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills.
