Job Title: Registered Nurse (Nights). Location: West Ashton Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire BA14 6DW. We make health happen. Here at Bupa we support those when they need it the most. You’ll help us make health happen by:
* Taking responsibility for the well-being of our residents and ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met
* Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals
* Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each resident
* Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies and legislation
Responsibilities
* As a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin, you’ll manage the unit alongside clinical duties in the home, including oversight of care, administering and ordering medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team while delivering best practice continually
* Ensure policies and standards are maintained to a high clinical standard
* Offer clinical guidance for care teams and assist with all CQC tasks
* Build connections with residents and their families, delivering kindness, support and high-quality care
* Demonstrate effective communication and reporting to hand over clinical issues to team members and healthcare professionals
* If working nights, demonstrate enhanced skills to ensure patient safety when working largely alone, with limited support, strong critical thinking, confidence and self-reliance, and the ability to manage care staff and remain calm in emergencies
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin
* Experience maintaining high clinical standards and policies
* Ability to provide clinical guidance and support for care teams, with experience in CQC tasks
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and their families
* Excellent handover skills and ability to report clinically to team members and health care professionals
