Salary: The starting salary is £90,336, which includes allowances totaling £2,928.
The salary is broken down as £87,408 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £96,341. Plus, a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

Job Summary
The Head of Transition and Service Design would lead a team dedicated to designing the end-to-end journey of a service. This helps a user complete their goal and CTP deliver a policy intent in relation to technical complex solutions. Your work will involve creating or changing transactions, products, and content across both digital and offline channels provided by different parts of CTP HQ and partner organizations.
The post holder will work flexibly on IT solutions within the DDaT and Change portfolios as required by the CTPHQ Head of Technology. They may work on, or oversee, multiple programmes/projects depending on scale and complexity, and collaborate on joint Service Design/Transition activities with CT partner agencies.
The role involves working closely with the Head of Delivery, Head of ICT, ICT SLT, SROs, Project Executives, Programme Directors, and other CTPHQ Unit Heads.
A Head of Service Design and Transition is an industry expert who can define and ensure best practices, influence, lead, and mentor others.
Key responsibilities include:
* Influencing design and organizational strategy and priorities
* Collaborating with counterparts across government
* Ensuring effective conditions and environment for designers
This role is responsible for planning and coordinating resources for effective service transition into operation. You will be responsible for coordination activities across projects, suppliers, and service teams.
The Technology Pillar operates under a matrix management model. As a Band S Programme Manager, you will directly line manage Service Design and Transition SMEs (contract and FTE).
