A fast-growing Design & Build consultancy is looking to appoint a commercially sharp and relationship-driven Public Sector Business Development Manager to help expand their footprint across public sector and commercial markets.
The business is already delivering high-impact projects across:
* PAS2035 Retrofit
* Decarbonisation Programmes
* Mechanical & Electrical Contracting
* Energy Consultancy
* Design & Build Construction
Now they need someone capable of opening doors, building relationships before tenders even land, and becoming a recognised name within the sector.
This role is all about influence, momentum and commercial ownership.
You will be:
* Building relationships with local authorities, framework providers, housing associations, healthcare and education sectors
* Developing and growing the public sector pipeline
* Identifying opportunities within low-carbon and sustainable construction
* Supporting bid strategy and increasing tender success rates
* Driving long-term client relationships and repeat business
* Working closely with technical and bid teams to shape growth strategy
What we are looking for:
* Proven business development experience within construction, building services or energy sectors
* Strong understanding of public sector procurement and frameworks
* Existing network within public sector decision makers would be hugely advantageous
* Confident communicator with a commercially driven mindset
* Experience within retrofit, sustainability or decarbonisation projects would stand out strongly
