A client within the Public Sector based in the East Midlands is currently recruiting for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join their Asset Management Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a housing asset management environment. The Role Key purpose of the role is to assist in the effective and efficient delivery of the Council’s asset management strategy through the collection, analysis, and use of stock condition information, including stock condition and HHSRS surveys. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: • Conducting stock condition, HHSRS and related surveys across occupied and void properties, communal areas, garages and commercial buildings. • Ensuring results of surveys are accurately recorded in the asset management system using handheld data capture equipment. • Producing schedules of work and assisting in the preparation and monitoring of work programmes. • Commissioning and overseeing specialist surveys and ensuring results are acted upon. • Identifying and reporting defects, quality issues, tenancy issues and health and safety concerns.
