An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Year 1 teacher to join a wonderful Infants school from January 2026. This vacancy is for an Educator who is driven, reliable and nurturing with QTS and previous experience.
As the KS1 Teacher, you will take full classroom responsibility for a Year 1 class, creating a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment. You will be supported by a full-time teaching assistant and a dedicated leadership team who value collaboration, creativity, and care. The school would also be happy to take on an ECT for this role as they are able to provide continuous professional development training.
We are looking for someone who:
Is creative and full of enthusiasm.
Demonstrates a solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development
Is a qualified teacher with QTS.
Experienced in teaching Year 1 pupils
Has an enhanced child only DBS on the Update service or willing to obtain one.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 framework
Promote a love of learning through structured activities
Support the development of each child’s personal, social, and emotional skills
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting your teaching accordingly
