About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Everyone working here understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will plan and implement activities that delight our Residents. You will also assist the Home Manager in organizing essential fundraising events. Whether you’re encouraging Residents to socialise, developing new activity ideas based on their hobbies, or involving the care team, your work will be guided by kindness.
We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. You should manage your time effectively and communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional related training. You should also be proactive in seeking advice and reporting concerns.
