MSL Heat Treatment are a company that specialises in vacuum brazing and heat treatment of metal components, formed from the acquisition of CNC Vacuum Processes whose vacuum heat treatment expertise stretches back over 40 years. Operating from our plant just outside Gatwick, we have excellent transport links ideally placing us in easy reach of local and national customers requiring our vacuum heat treatment and brazing processes. We are part of the Magnetic Shields Ltd group, with a full manufacturing facility in Staplehurst, Kent equipped with the latest technology. About the role: Prepare equipment such as vacuum furnaces and ensure production setting are accurate Assisting with brazing and loading furnaces following processes Packing and unpacking goods Loading and unloading furnaces Assisting implementing new processes and creating efficiencies Following works orders using production system and ensuring costs are recorded accurately Some customer management such as communicating when work will be completed Working with internal stakeholders to achieve the levels of quality required within the industry Working with line manager to drive business forward with expansion and growth plans Dropping off parts to parent company on occasion The Person: Good communication skills, must be able to relay information internally & externally Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail and a focused approach to work Good IT skills and use of ERP systems Self-driven team player possessing good inter-personal skills Can do driven attitude and willingness to work to deadlines Driving Licence required for occasional journeys between different sites Desirable Skills: Experience of working within and delivering to a quality management standard (minimum to ISO 9001) Some understanding of reading engineering drawings, projections and tolerances We acknowledge that the most valuable aspect of business, is the people, and we are looking to recruit the next generation of our workforce!
