Key responsibilities:
1. Driving revenue growth by identifying and winning new business opportunities
2. Securing high-value commercial contracts and managing negotiations
3. Leading a small commercial team, supporting and developing them to perform at their best
4. Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
5. Working closely with internal teams to shape commercial strategy
6. Using market insights and data to inform decisions and spot opportunities for growth
7. Representing the company at client meetings and industry events when required
Skills and Experience:
8. Proven experience as a Senior BDM or Commercial Manager in the energy sector
9. Experience of securing high-value contracts and driving revenue growth
10. Experience managing a small team is desirable
11. Ability to coach, inspire, and support the development of team members
12. Solid commercial awareness and understanding of market trends
13. Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
14. Comfortable interpreting data to make informed commercial decisions
15. Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and CRM systems
16. Willingness to travel to Manchester as needed
