Weare seeking a motivated and compassionate Salaried GP to join our friendly andfamily orientated practice for 4-6 sessions on a permanent contract; the postwill cover two practices in the Sunderland North Primary Care Network (PCN) ona 4:2 ratio. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centredcare within the multi-disciplinary team, through routine consultations, chronic diseasemanagement, preventative healthcare, and management of acute medicalconditions. The role includes working collaboratively within a supportivemultidisciplinary team, maintaining accurate clinical records, managingreferrals and investigations, and contributing to the ongoing development andquality improvement of the practice. This is anexcellent opportunity for a GP seeking a supportive practice with a manageablelist size, good work-life balance, and the chance to become part of a close-knitteam. Our practice team,managed by our Practice Manager, is comprised of the following: 2x GP Partners 1x Advanced Nurse Practitioner 2x Practice Nurses Fullycompliment of Administrative support Wealso work alongside our Allied Healthcare Professionals under the AdditionalRoles Reimbursement Scheme. This teamincludes a GP, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Mental Health Workers, MDTCoordinator, Social Prescribers and Health Coaches. Job responsibilities

The successful candidate will: Provide high-quality, patient-centred care through face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations. Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in line with current clinical guidelines and best practice. Undertake routine health reviews, preventative care, and health promotion activities. Prescribe medications safely and appropriately within practice and national prescribing policies. Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records using the EMIS clinical system. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary practice team, including nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff. Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or internally referred within the practice. Participate in practice meetings, clinical governance, and quality improvement activities. Manage referrals, investigations, results, and follow-up care in a timely manner. Support safeguarding responsibilities for children and vulnerable adults. Maintain professional development and comply with GMC appraisal and revalidation requirements. Qualifications

Fully qualified GP with GMC registration Evidence of annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate) On the medical performers list Enhanced DBS post is subject to DBS checks Full UK driving licence Evidence of continued professional development Other post graduate diplomas Experience

Knowledge of NHS Primary Care systems and structures Knowledge of QOF and Enhanced Services Experience working with the EMIS clinical system High standards of record keeping Strong understanding of NICE and local prescribing guidelines Effective time management Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Understanding the needs of the local practice population Experience working in a General Practice/Primary Care Setting Disclosure and Barring Service Check
