Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse Location: Oxford Employment: Permanent (Full-time & Part-time options available) Hours: Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm) Salary: £38,480 - £42,640 per year Fantastic shift enhancements and benefits package Are you passionate about delivering exceptional cancer care? At Pulse, we are collaborating with a leading global health and life sciences provider, renowned for its commitment to patient-centred care across the UK. We are seeking a Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse to support patients undergoing Oncology/Chemotherapy treatments in the community, working alongside designated hospitals and health centres in the Oxford area. Your Role: In this role, you will be instrumental in educating and supporting patients through their treatment journey, ensuring services are delivered with a patient-centric and customer-focused approach. Conduct clinical assessments tailored to individual patient needs Deliver education and training to enable patients and carers, to safely self-medicate relevant treatments Provide ongoing support through comprehensive patient programmes (telephone, clinic-based, and home visits) Assess home environments to ensure suitability for IV oncology treatment, prioritising patient safety and security Benefits Package: Car allowance (up to £5,000) or Company Car Fantastic shift enhancements Continuous training & professional development Contributory pension scheme Private healthcare cover Death in service benefit (x4 salary) 33 days of annual leave (excluding bank holidays) Company mobile phone & tablet Professional registrations covered Comprehensive company induction What We’re Looking For: Registered Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration Chemotherapy delivery qualification (SACT certification) Experience in administering oncology/chemotherapy medications, within a hospital or community setting Competence in clinical assessments, IV administration, cannulation, phlebotomy, and subcutaneous injections This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader with a fantastic reputation, offering unique and rewarding career prospects.
