Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 | Friday 08:30 – 16:00 | 37.5 hours

The Role - Service Engineer
Working within the service team, you will be involved in a wide range of workshop engineering and repair activities, including:
Stripping, inspecting, repairing and rebuilding mechanical components and systems
Fault-finding and carrying out repairs on customer equipment
Functional testing of serviced and repaired equipment
Preparing hire equipment and carrying out checks before dispatch
Completing inspection reports and service paperwork accurately
Maintaining workshop standards, tools, stock and test equipmentSkills & Experience - Service Engineer
A mechanical engineering or workshop background
Strong fault-finding and hands-on mechanical repair experience
Experience working within a service, maintenance or repair environment
Good communication and report-writing skills
A practical, team-focused approach with good attention to detail
Hydraulics or fluid power experience would be an advantage
