Overview
Café team members help bring daily moments to life for customers: a bit of cooking, a bit of chatting, and a lot of impact. You’ll ensure dishes meet our menu standards and safety requirements, and you’ll help keep kitchen equipment, surfaces, and customer areas tidy.
It’s a lively role with everyday challenges, plus flexible hours, opportunities for progression, and more. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.
The following outlines availability windows in the week and how we schedule contracted hours. You’ll receive 3 weeks’ notice of shifts. We can support flexibility if your availability closely matches the advertised times. Read more in the policy details.

Responsibilities
* Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
* Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
* Following food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
* Practising first in, first out (FIFO) stock rotation to keep our food fresh.
* Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
* Being aware of (and following) all operational policies and procedures.
* Preparing, cooking, and serving food according to our café’s delicious menu.
* Making sure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.
* Knowing our café’s menu inside and out and serving food exactly as it’s intended.
* Resolving customer complaints and passing on information to the Café Manager.
* Staying up-to-date with business communications and exciting new initiatives.
* Clearing and sanitising tables so our café stays clean.
You will need
* A commitment to hospitality and excellent customer service.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
* The ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.

* Great communicator with a proactive attitude.
* Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
* Confident using your initiative to improve ways of working.
* Good at planning and keeping things organised.
* Adaptable to working in the buzz of a fast-paced environment.
