Our clients Tax Consultancy service operates as a national team, delivering expert tax solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Key Responsibilities: As a Corporate Tax Manager, your role will be varied and dynamic, including the following key duties: * You’ll be responsible for reviewing complex corporate tax computations, ensuring the technical accuracy of work prepared by junior colleagues, and providing feedback to improve their skills. * You will take an active role in training, mentoring, and supporting the development of Tax Assistants, Tax Seniors, and Tax Assistant Managers. * Managing the progress of client work, including monitoring work deliverables, recoveries, and billing, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards. * You’ll assist in delivering proactive tax planning advice to clients, ensuring they receive strategic and tailored tax solutions. * Liaising with clients and internal teams across AW offices to ensure seamless delivery of corporate tax consultancy, compliance, and advisory services. * Involvement in the recruitment process for new team members, including supporting our graduate intake programme each year. * You’ll have formal line management responsibilities, including overseeing the work and development of Tax Seniors or Trainees. We are looking for a dynamic, qualified professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. To be considered for the role, candidates should meet the following requirements: * CTA qualified with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory. * Experience using Alphatax is desirable, but not essential. * Proven experience in dealing with clients and ensuring an exceptional level of customer service is provided. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and colleagues alike. * Capable of delivering technical tax training sessions to develop the skills of junior team members.
