We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join a forward-thinking and inclusive school in the Southwark region. This is a full-time opportunity suited to an experienced SEND specialist or a teacher keen to further develop their expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
The successful candidate will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning needs. You will deliver personalised, engaging teaching that promotes academic progress, independence, and positive social-emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons in line with EHCP outcomes
* Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with the SENCO, teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals
* Track, assess, and report on pupil progress
* Implement tailored intervention and behaviour support strategies
* Develop strong partnerships with parents and carers

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with pupils with SEND
* Strong understanding of EHCP processes and inclusive practice
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A resilient, patient, and adaptable approach
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
