Full Stack Engineer – Symfony
Our client, a digital solutions innovator in regulated industries, is undergoing a major platform transformation and seeks a Full Stack Engineer – Symfony to join their team. This is a fully remote role with occasional travel (2–4 times per year) to their Cincinnati headquarters. Focus:
Design and build scalable web applications using Symfony, React.js, and MySQL in a microservices architecture.
Play a key role in modernizing a legacy monolith into a robust service-oriented system.
Translate business requirements into clean, high-performance code and architecture.
Guide technical discussions and mentor junior developers on best practices and development workflows.
Champion Agile principles through active participation in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product leaders, and fellow engineers to ensure a seamless user experience.
Maintain awareness of industry trends and help integrate the latest development tools and techniques.
Skill Set:
5+ years of full stack development experience, including enterprise-level PHP applications.
3+ years of Symfony experience and 1+ year of React.js experience.
Familiarity with TypeScript, AWS infrastructure, and microservices.
Proficient with Agile methodologies and Git-based version control.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-first mindset.
Bonus points for prior experience in CI/CD, DevOps, or mentoring engineers.
