Community Staff Nurse

We are looking to recruit a full‑time band 5 Community staff nurse to our District Nursing Team at the Chorlton, Whalley Range and Fallowfield Integrated Team. You should be passionate about delivering high quality care and committed to making a difference to people.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care in a caring, compassionate and sensitive manner. The post holder will work closely with the multi‑disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. The post holder will act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre‑registration students. Additionally, the post holder will take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team and the maintenance of high standards of quality patient care on a shift basis.

Qualifications
* First level registration – Registered Nurse Degree or Diploma
* Teaching Qualification – Degree level 6 study Diploma
Knowledge
* Knowledge of current nursing issues
* Knowledge of clinical governance
* IT / Word Processing
Training and Experience
* Experience of working on own and as part of a team
* Ability to supervise and support junior staff
* Awareness of clinical audit
* Experience in community nursing
Skills and Abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Must hold a driving licence and have access to a car
* Ability to travel around the trust and community with specialist equipment, which may include travelling to remote locations

Salary: £32,073 to £39,043 per annum (pro rata)
