Job Description
The Dental Care Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services.
This role involves performing high-quality dental nursing, maintaining infection control duties, supporting the head nurse with planning rotas and people management, and ensuring that all CQC requirements are met.
The ideal candidate should be a dedicated and compassionate professional, well presented, with good communication skills, organisational skills, and a team player who can work efficiently to provide excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing clinical support to the dentist or hygienist during various dental procedures.
* Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment according to health and safety guidelines.
* Maintaining accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
* Managing appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimise clinic operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
* Basic IT skills and experience with electronic patient records.
