Location: St Clare Hospice Shop, 41 High Street, Great Dunmow, CM6 1AE
Salary: £26,764 – £31,038 per annum (depending on experience) Inclusive of 5% High-Cost Area Allowance
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week (within a 7-day trading week)
Overview of role
St Clare Hospice is a charity that provides specialist palliative care to patients and families in West Essex and the East Hertfordshire borders.
Our shop in the Essex town of Great Dunmow is a general charity mix and also sells an eclectic range of furniture. The Assistant Shop Manager will support the post holder on their days off.
You will need to be an energetic, resilient team leader supporting the volunteer and staff team to deliver the very best customer service experience to our supporters, donors and customers.
You will be diligent in daily compliance across health and safety in the workplace and compliance of Retail gift aid processing to maximise the income at every opportunity.
This is a great role for someone looking to develop their management skills further within a busy charity Retail environment.
