This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Engineering in a well resourced department, helping students develop the technical knowledge, problem solving skills and creativity that prepare them for future careers in industry.

What you’ll be doing
• Teaching Engineering within the Design & Technology curriculum
• Delivering engaging, practical lessons that develop technical skills
• Supporting students to understand real world engineering concepts
• Planning lessons that challenge and inspire learners of all abilities
• Working collaboratively with the wider DT and technology team
What the school is looking for
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Engineering, Design Technology or a related subject
• Strong practical workshop knowledge and safe classroom practice
• A creative approach to teaching technical subjects
• A team player who enjoys contributing to a thriving department

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
