About This Position As a Behaviour Mentor, you will have a vital role in supporting students who face behavioural challenges, guiding them towards positive engagement with their learning and school community.
Core Responsibilities:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties
* Managing challenging situations with calm professionalism, employing restorative practices when suitable
* Promoting students' emotional health and personal growth
* Collaborating effectively with teachers, pastoral staff, and SENCOs to deliver targeted behaviour interventions
* Demonstrating positive behaviours and establishing meaningful connections with young people

Who We're Looking For:
* Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (in education, youth work, or care settings)
* Calm, confident, and positive under pressure
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* A proactive, empathetic, and firm-but-fair approach
* A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
* Right to work in the UK
