SEND Teaching Support Assistant - Milton Primary Academy
Milton Primary Academy (part of Windsor Academy Trust) is seeking to appoint a temporary Teaching Support Assistant with Special Educational Needs knowledge to join the team as soon as possible. This role is as follows:
* Monday - Friday
* Term time only
* 31 hours and 15 minutes a week
* 8.45am - 3.30pm including 30 minutes lunch
* Paid at Grade 3 to recognise SEND knowledge and experience
* To start as soon as possible
* Temporary until 31st August 2026
Milton Primary Academy is a welcoming two-form entry primary school where the children are always put first. We are looking for an experienced teaching support assistant who can work alongside teachers and the SENCo to provide support to pupils with SEND needs and help them access the curriculum at their level.
The ideal candidate will:
* have experience of working with pupils with SEND
* have a strong understanding of SEMH, Autism and Speech and Language support
* have a passion and drive for wanting to see all children succeed
* be knowledgeable of strategies and interventions to support pupils in accessing learning
* be organised, calm, patient and understanding of varying levels of need
