JOB DESCRIPTION

What we're looking for

We are looking to recruit several Customer Service Advisors to join our team based in Oldham. The Customer Service team works on a rotational shift pattern covering our core operational hours of 8:00 am - 8:00 pm. This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week, and offers hybrid working where you will work three days in the office and two days you will work remotely.

Our Customer Service Advisors come from a variety of different employment backgrounds, so we know that previous experience of working in housing or in a contact centre isn't essential. We know that to succeed in this role, you will be resilient, enthusiastic, and most importantly, care about our residents and providing excellent customer service.

You will be a talented communicator with the ability to handle sometimes challenging conversations with some of our vulnerable residents, whilst delivering a great service. You will also be a proactive and positive person with a real 'can do' attitude who loves to contribute ideas to further improve customer service processes.

Essential experience:

* Proven experience in providing excellent customer service. The ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures, and accurately record data and information.
* Excellent oral and written communications.
* Proven ability to provide accurate and clear responses to routine resident enquiries - in writing, face to face or by telephone.
* The ability to accurately enter data within a call scenario, whilst talking to residents to understand requirements.

Location

The Customer Service Centre is based in Oldham, and successful applicants will be able to work effectively in both an office and a home-based environment.

Due to the training for this role, the expected start date will be Monday 27th October 2025.

Interviews will be face to face in the Oldham office on Tuesday 23rd September 2025 and Wednesday 24th September 2025.
