We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate processing and packaging equipment, ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, and work in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating physical conditions. You must be comfortable working in controlled environments and handling hazardous materials.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a variety of production equipment including filling machines, labellers, and packing equipment.
* Weigh, measure, and verify raw materials to ensure batch accuracy.
* Perform in-process quality sampling and testing.
* Maintain accurate quality and production records in compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
* Conduct daily safety inspections and follow all safe work practices and procedures.
* Clean and maintain production equipment and work areas in accordance with standard operating procedures.
* Work within controlled environments, utilizing local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems and other PPE as required.
* Perform additional related duties as assigned to support team and operational goals.
Working Environment and Physical Requirements:
* Able to lift up to 40 lbs. (18 kg) without assistance.
* Exposure to fluctuating temperatures (hot and cold), loud noise levels from machinery, and strong odors (e.g., chemicals, lubricants, biological substances).
* Routine use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
* Will work with hazardous and/or toxic materials in accordance with company safety protocols.
Work Schedule:
* 37.5 hours per week (8-hour shifts including a 30-minute unpaid break).

Qualifications:
Education:
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or equivalent (required).
* Additional manufacturing qualifications (desirable).

Experience:
* Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment (required).
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality (required).
* Familiarity with GMP and safety standards (preferred).
* Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, food, or chemical) is an asset.
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing software (preferred)
