In this role, you’ll drive sales growth, deepen customer relationships, and increase spend across your region with both new and existing customers. We’re looking for someone proactive, commercially astute, customer-obsessed, and confident in face‑to‑face engagement.
What you’ll do
* Identify and convert new business opportunities (including digital leads and self‑generated prospects)
* Build and maintain strong relationships across your territory—from operational contacts to senior decision makers
* Conduct structured business reviews and create joint business plans that support long‑term partnerships
* Increase customer pallet volumes by converting white pallet users to CHEP solutions
* Win back business from competitors and expand customer spend year‑on‑year
* Build and manage a healthy opportunity pipeline across strategic product areas
What we’re looking for
* Full UK driving licence
* 5+ years’ experience in business development, territory sales, account management, or a similar field‑based commercial role
* Proven track record in lead generation, sales conversion, and territory growthStrong relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels
* Confident in presenting, negotiating, and delivering customer‑facing reviews
* Ability to understand customer pain points, ideally within supply chain or operational environments
