What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years’ experience at Sous Chef level
*
Proven experience in a busy 4-star hotel kitchen
*
A confident leader who can step up when the Head Chef is away
*
Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen compliance
*
Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
*
A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food and menu innovation
Key Responsibilities:
*
Training and mentoring chefs across all sections
*
Assisting the Head Chef with GP management
*
Creating and managing the kitchen & KP rota
*
Organising daily food and function prep
*
Ordering and stock control
*
Collaborating with the Head Chef on menu planning
*
Leading the kitchen and resolving issues in the Head Chef’s absence
*
Keeping all EHO paperwork up to date
*
Regularly updating the specials board with new dishes
